Questions about uni entry requirements

I got CBB at AS (and a D in a subject I dropped) but I've been checking out most universities for a film/tv production course and the entry requirements are really high. I've seen some for ABB. I think I could push all my grades up but I'm not sure if I could do that. Do I need to get those grades or can I get in with something worse?


Did you have high enough grades (if you're in uni now)? do what subjects you're doing matter (i'm guessing media and english lit help for my course)? and what were your "safe choices" (easiest courses to get onto) if you had any?
Think about it, they aren't going to set their requirements at DDD or something really low as they want to be seen as competitive, your best bet would be to email the uni's and ask regarding said course.
