What do people actually do at parties?

Do they still play games such as Musical Statues, Pin The Tail On The Donkey, Simon Says & Pass the Parcel? :curious: Just curious as that's what I did at the last party I went to  is it similar basically?

Depends which kind of party. A party in which insecure socially awkward teenagers seek to get laid won't have any of those games you speak of. A child's party, however, will and so will casual parties in which there is no ultimate goal of getting laid.

Seen you say the same thing twice in the last 5 minutes, does whining about teenagers drinking not get boring?
It depends on the person.
But it is generally based upon having a good time.
Chat, drink, dance, eat (sometimes), talk to new people, listen to music/ sing, have fun!

I'd wish they'd be a tad quieter when they do drink. My view is that if you're going to drink, make sure you can handle it, or don't drink at all. The last thing anyone wants is you puking everywhere and making a fool out yourself.

My friends and I only drink wine at wine bars with a relaxed ambiance that allows one to discuss current affairs.

Lol I don't think so, nah. Most of the parties I've been to have just involved drinking games, lots of drinking and talking and sometimes dancing. :dontknow:

There's different types of parties. Some are quite boring, others fun, others ridiculously unsafe, there's good ol' sausage fest type parties, Mexican stand off parties, stoner parties and so on.

Some parties I've been to, went like this:

Got to my friends place, had some pre-party shots, went to pick up everyone else, meet up with other friends, then we all drove to do shopping, then speeded away while drinking a bit in cars to this place we rented out had a pit stop, sprayed friends cars as they pulled over with beer as if "race finish line" then went on, friend was pissed that I sprayed his salon with beer so he "threatened" to ram us off the road while we were both doing some 90 mph. Got to the place, this house by a lake in forest, others were already there, set up a barbecue, climbed onto roof to smoke a joint, went to dance with girls, played football, someone kicked ball on table knocked over drinks stopped playing, ate, drank some more played beer pong, went to dance again, then went to jump in a lake naked, smoked weed through a sword style bottle. drove off on bicycles to a shop some miles to get more booze came back really late at night, did some nonsenses on people who passed out like spraying whipped cream on them, putting a friend on a mattress in a lake and covering this girl in branches and grass, drank some more, got with this girl then just passed out in bed with her, woke up hungover and hungry, no food left just alcohol ><

So I can assume at some point you were all killed by Jason Voorhees too?

No.
At the parties I go to, talking and drinking. If there's music playing and anyone remotely resembling a female in control of said music then there may also be dancing later on in the evening when people are pretty drunk.
Drinking? Dancing? Talking?

Sounds like my idea of a bad time.
Any party I've been to since being about 15+, we just sit there drinking, talking and maybe play a drinking game or listen to music. Its fun but it can get quite dull too. I would rather have a night in gaming with friends and drinking rather than one of those parties, especially when its with a lot of people I don't know.

Went to a really fun party a few Fridays ago where we had a games night and basically had some drinks, roasted stuff outside on a fire (it's Winter here) and played monopoly/twister/cards against humanity

most parties tend to just be talking, sitting/standing, drinking, listening to music and the occasional action but the best parties involve things like pub quizzes made by the host for everyone to do when drunk, games of poker and Guitar Hero?Rock Band.

Ah ok, seems quite nice. I'd probably find it quite nice to socialise at a party (excluding from the drinking alcohol part).
