Welsh Government Learning Grant (ALG) - Proving estrangement

Hello, I've just started a full time college course and I've tried to apply for ALG/WLG and I'm struggling to prove I'm independent/estranged.

I'm 19, moved out just before my 17th birthday and have been living independently since. I went through Llamau briefly during 2012 (they are providing a letter to say this but can't give information on the past few years) before deciding I'd rather get my own flat.

I've recently moved into a new flat (3 months ago) and moved doctors too (I don't see a regular GP so I doubt they know I live alone).

My two sixth form tutors have both retired.

I don't know how I can prove I'm independent. Student finance have stated they won't continue my application without me getting evidence from an "official" person.

Any ideas on what I can do to prove it?
