Oxidation of cyclohexanol to haxane-1.4 dioic acid

Oxidation of cyclohexanol to haxane-1.4 dioic acidis it possible to use conc H2SO4 instead of H3PO4 to allow the reaction of oxidation of cyclohexanol to haxane-1.4 dioic acid to occur?how can the reaction occur? cyclohexanol is seconary alcohol , it should be oxidised to ketone am i right? but it's oxidised to carboxylic acid...

Also, there is no such thing as hexane-1,4-dioc acid, I think you meant 1,6 :smile:
