Has anyone got a link to the latest manifestos submitted by the different parties during the last GE so I can study them and potentially choose a political party to join?

EDIT: MRLP is a wicked name.

I was planning to ask party leaders to submit a short description for the welcome thread to try and encourage new members, but prior to thats establishment, here is the last election thread - feel free to take a read (obviously those are also written in the majority assuming some knowledge of the party, so if you have any further questions on the parties I'm sure the party members would be happy to field them).

Ah but the things I've heard about the initiation for the Tories *shudders* well we won't even go there.

Besides what other party places such a strong emphasis on it's culinary output alongside bold policies for a better Britain.

because its an acronym...cant be arsed to reseach what it stands for though...although I believe the "R" is actually for "Respect" - which is pretty pathetic.

RESPECT - The Unity Coalition is a socialist British political party founded on January 25, 2004 in London. Its name is a backronym standing for Respect, Equality, Socialism, Peace, Environmentalism, Community, and Trade unionism. It is often refered to simply as Respect or as the Respect Party.

god I'm good... (although I'm now tempted to change their party name to "RESPECTU" )

I've also asked all party leaders to produce a short party profile for the welcome thread - so expect those to start appearing in the next week or so
