Lol, what does this mean?!

Yeah maybe different colours is the best idea so that it's easy to see the males and females.

I'll have to set some new PBs then, since all my best oly lifts are from before my injury last September.

Snatch 59kg: bw 73.3kg

Yeah I'll mark you out in a different colour

Is that an old lift or new... I follow your log but I forget

Who's that guy in the background in some of your videos? Do you have a trainer for your olympic lifting or is he just a workout partner?
Up to date I believe, quote me if you see that I'm not

That looked so damn easy. Looks like you could rip 20kg more off the floor.

Pulling exclusively from a deficit for a while seems to have really helped. Would have pulled again with a little more weight but I ripped my hand and it looked like this

Ripped a callus a few weeks back, it slightly heals and then I deadlift again and rip it open again. Meh.
A very easy single after some volume today, a return to a plate a side isn't far away I think

I am a member of a weightlifting club so we train as a group. The person you see most often is my other half who also trains weightlifting and often functions as my coach when nobody else is there

Need to say 2 things:

1. well done for sorting this out, good effort!

2. I only squatted 110kg the other day, not 115kg :frown:

It's a nice distraction from bacteria and immunology tbh

Well you have something to aim for next time you max out  I'll edit it now
For max FTOH, how much on the floor does it have to be?

Did a 90kg log pb but off 9"blocks since it stops you crushing your toes.

Idk, in strongman competition would that be how a FTOH would be done, off blocks? Or would it be from the ground?
Are there plates on the log, or is it just a straight up log that weighs 90kg? Cause I've seen you pull logs off the floor, with no blocks

So many questions

9'' sounds quite high off the floor tbh
Gotta be from floor IMO. Logs are easier to press than a barbell (at same weight) so if you want the ease in that part of the RoM then you're gonna have to deal with it being a bitch from the floor IMO .

In a comp it's always off tyres or short blocks since the log deadlift step is easy anyway. Log weighs 80+small 5kg plates. Video'd on my blog.

With thin logs and standard sized plates it's easy from the floor since you have space for feet.

Tbh I may go for a new barbell FTOH pb this week, reckon 95 is there.
