history of art at uni

hi!!
i really want to do history of art at university but was wondering where the best places are. i really really like Manchester but their offer is ABB which kinda suggests that their course isn't as good as others.
what are people's thoughts?
hi
i'm also applying for History of Art this year and have put down Manchester as an option. I feel like the offers are really rather inconsequential in terms of what Uni you go to, because it should be more about the course they offer and about the flexibility in module choice.

Obviously grades come into it in terms of whether or not you can get in, but don't disregard a university purely based on grades, because that could become your insurance place?

Sorry if this didn't make sense, but I hope it helps

p.s. I think the Courtauld is great for History of Art, as is University of East Anglia, as they cover world art as well as European, so its wonderful in terms of breadth of information and learning.

Entry requirements are an indicator of competitiveness, not quality. True, the two are often correlated but you shouldn't dismiss a course based purely on its typical offer.

I don't know much about History of Art but you might find these links useful:
