Awkward situation

Basically started sixth form about a month ago and there's a girl in the majority of my classes. I told a few of my mates I quite liked her, looks wise, it ended up getting spread and she found out....problem is we haven't even spoken that much....

So now I seem like a bit of a creep because she knows I like her yet we've rarely spoken... There was also a party which I got +1'd to if I brought a girl, and I was planning on asking her but she's already going....

So now I'm not sure what to do, around her it's a bit awkward now so I don't know whether I should bring it up to her and explain the situation? There's a party in a few weeks we're both going to also.
