AS Level Mathematics

In my sixth form, we are doing C1,C2,C3,C4 and the Statistics Modules... Do they all come together to form a A-Level Maths grade? I was wondering if I could do Mechanics (M1,etc.) separately to help with Physics and get better at maths overall.
I was talking about overall (sorry, I made a mistake in the title)
Could I do any mechanics modules separately, by any chance?

You could do mechanics modules instead of statistics or as well as statistics. If you do more than the 6 units required for maths A level the examiners will automatically use the best allowable combination of results to calculate your final A level grade.

Your school may or may not permit it meaning you might have to pay and do the mechanics exams as a private candidate at another centre. Watch out for exam clashes if you decide to take this approach.
