Girls body language on date - very confusing

I had a date this week. We didn't contact each other again.

Basically on the date, she was facing me, making intense eye contact, playing with her hair constantly and smiling. All indicators of strong interest. At the same time, she was occasionally crossing her arms across her stomach, and very strangely, quite alot of the time she was tapping her foot against the floor.

With all these contradictions going on I couldn't interpret this, she was 20 so maybe she was immature and inexperienced. Anybody have any ideas?

P'haps you're over-analysing picky details which should be taken as a broad thing integrated with wider context?

Yes, there are body language indicators relating to attitudes for other people but it's never as direct as X --> Y. Perhaps she was cold hence the arm crossing for example.
