GCSEs: A*s/As - don't aim for less, if you're going to aim for one of the most competitive fields, you might as well aim to be the best at everything you do.

A-Levels: 4 As at AS in Biology, Chemistry and 2 other subjects you like. Most people take Maths as the 3rd one. You can choose a language or a humanities subject if you want to stand out. No General Studies.

Apply to uni for Medicine during Year 13 when you get 4 As then go from there.

You need to get into medical school and through that first, then worry about specialising!

The TSR wiki articles on Medicine will give you a good guide to applying to medicine. I've asked for this to be moved to the appropriate forum.
You need to go to Med school. You'll need mainly A*s and As at GCSE, and preferably all As at AS combined with excellent UKCAT/BMAT scores. At GCSE, you really ought to take triple science since it'll prepare you the best for A Level science. At A Level, you'll want to take Chemistry and Biology (although Biology isn't strictly required everywhere).

I've already got an A in humanities and Graphics (taken 2 years early). An A* in Geography, A in ICT and a C in french (taken 1 year early) and I am predicted; A*'s in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and P.E and A's in English Lit and Lang and Physics. Are these good enough grades to become an orthopedic surgeon?

Being good at carpentry or stonemasonry might help.

This is not relevant to your question at all, but why on earth did they get you to do French a year early if you weren't extremely likely to get an A*? I can't stand it when people come on here and say their school made them do ______ early and they only got __.

They make us do it early so that we can focus on Maths, English and sciences in year 11.
