Work Experience 6th Form

Our school has decided that this year for Year 12 we haveto look for our work placement by ourselves, so I decided to start looking now. I really want to do it at a majory London city firm, any ideas who I should try?

my 6th form did'nt even let us do work experience in year 12. i was actually looking forward to it as well. Maybe you could ask your teachers were people went last year, and were people had a particularily enjoyable, and successful period of work ? :smile:

Bit vague...most will want you to have a specific reason why your interested in that company, rather than just wanting to experience a City firm

I got told today that our media studies teacher is trying to get work experience sorted, I never knew this was possibly but hopefully I can go to my local paper.

I just want to see the jobs in they city, to see if its for me or not. Obviously when I ask them I will give them a good reason, though I do enjoy finance and exnomics, any sugestions?
