I too am on my gap year and applying for next sep. Feels almost as if I have no choice if I don't go....I mean what WOULD I actually do with my life. Honestly the education system is broken and besides its all systematic programming us all into a future of inescapable debt, unemployment and class struggle

Exactly. I'm tired of feeling like academia is the only route to success, or at least the only viable option for me. Being rushed into choosing subjects so early has made it worse; I regret the choices I made and wish I had been given better advice earlier on, when choosing GCSEs and A Levels. What are you going to study?
Because I'd be unable to break into the profession I want to enter without a degree, unfortunately.
