Should i do Geography or Geology?

I much prefer the physical side of geography, but I would like to know, in your opinions, which should I pick and why?
Also if you did GCSE Geography, what grade did you get?

I got A* at Geography GCSE and A-level and am now doing it at university. Geology can lead you into some very lucrative careers in the energy industry particularly, but I'd say if you're not definite about going into a physical-focused career, go for Geography - it gives a bit more flexibility about what you will study, and what you can eventually go into afterwards. You can always specialise within your undergrad degree and/or do a Masters in Geology if you're then set on it.

Geography/Geology isn't something I want to pursue as a career. In fact, I am interested in optometry and will be choosing the sciences too, but I thoroughly enjoy Geography at GCSE, hoping for an A*.
I enjoy the physical side more though... I'm not too sure.
After looking at some past papers, I think I am better suited for Geology.

Did you find it difficult?
What about GCSE Geog? how did you do?
Im doing both for AS ask me anything!
I am also considering optometry and other degrees
Geography A Level is seen as a facilitating subject whereas Geology is not. But as long as you're taking two other facilitating subjects (assuming you're aiming for RG), go with whichever you think you'd prefer.

Yes, that's great then.
Optometry is also something I am interested in and am choosing Bio, Chem and English Lit.
I do enjoy Physical Geography and the past papers seem pretty good. The results for Geology are generally higher than Geography too, and I don't want something too difficult as I would need to balance it all between my other subjects too.
Its either one, I'm more for Geology atm, but I would like some advice off you, since your in the current position.
Which is easier/do you prefer and why?
Which would you recommend for Optometry?
Which one is easier?

Geography is definitely easier as the course is almost identical to gcse but you just go into a little bit more detail.

For optometry i think geography would be better as it is seen as a better subject and geology is very specific.

After AS i think im going to drop either geology or geography

I found it engaging, the only difficult bit was the coursework, however that was my mistake as I did it last minute and they gave us a good amount of time. I did very well got an A*
