Do med students get the last say in uni accommodation?

I know med/dentistry/vet students get their offers very late (around March) whereas most others will get their's around sept-jan, so are med students last to pick what accommodation they want/whatever's left?

Not a huuuuge deal, but I'd like to live in halls that appeal to me as well as having a single (ensuite) room, aha
Accomodiation allocation (except for unconditional offer holders) is only really done once the results are out and therefore knowledge of who has accepted a place is confirmed.

it amazes me how many people forget / ignore these kind of really obvious things .
