Cover letters/uni work

Someone please enlighten me on cover letters?

Going to uni for my first year wanting a part time job maybe 10 hours a week or something and also has a good discount on products would come in handy... but then i also wouldnt mind bar work.

Is it a good idea to apply for jobs at the uni or just shops in nottingham? and should cover letters be written for each application or just use the same one for each place that i apply to? im a bit confused!

hey,

some advice on cover letter that I have found helpful has been from
Milkround Advice

Apply for both jobs at the uni and shopd locally. But, think of what you want to do in the future. A customer orientated environment i.e. a shop or a bar is great for any type of work.
Cover letters - You could go for one general one if you're applying to the same sort of business such as shope, but make sure you get the correct company name and name of the person you're writing to. Most applications won't be look on favourably if they're addressed wrong.

Also take a look at a few proofreading sites essayproofreading.com is great for students
