I really need help with this please!!!

In the experiment you must obtain the period of oscillation of a mass suspended from a metre rule, by different arrangements of support threads, plot a graph from the experimental results, find the intercept and gradient of the graph and determine the acceleration of free fall g from the results.

the equation T^4=-4(Pi)^4 divided by g^2 multiplied by d^2 +4(Pi)^4 divided by g^2.

T^4 is 3.04
d^2 is 0.01
g^2 is unknown

A graph is plotted with a gradient of 3.8. Use the gradient to calculate a value for the acceleration of free fall g?

That's the first question the second part is Use the intercept of your graph (3.08) to calculate a second value for g.

Tbh I think the formula you need is given as (1) on this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kater%27s_pendulum

probably you should post a copy of the question as I can't really say I understand what you've written here.
