English and Philosophy - Competitivity

just wondering how competitive joint English and Philosophy is compared to Regular English at university.
The universities in questions are:
Bristol
Sheffield
East Anglia
Nottingham
Reading
I got ABBC AS grades (philosophy, English lit, History, Biology) and have A*AB predicted grades and was just wondering how competitive this course is.
