3rd year quantum mechanics help

No idea where to start with this and the hints really aren't helpful :s-smilie: All I really know about the Stark effect is that the potential energy of an electron in the field of strength epsilon would be W = e*epsilon*z but is that the same as the "potential energy imparted to the atomic electron"? Don't have a clue how to calculate the probabilities on Q2 either. Some tips would be great or at least point out where I can find the info that will improve my understanding
