Not sure if my application has been sent correctly

Basically, my teacher wrote my reference and then said she sent it but this was before I pressed pay and send. When I did that, it said my application has been sent to my reference. ..so does this mean my reference has been sent without an application attached? I'm very confused and very worried! Advice much appreciated.

Your application has been sent to your referee (generally your head of year in sixth form). Your teacher probably means she has sent it to your head of year for them to attach it to your application.
