It's lump so it goes slower than powder.
There's half the mass so it makes half the volume of gas.

Because lumps have a lower surface area to mass ratio than powder and so react more slowly ...

C would be 0.5g of powder so it goes at the same rate at X at the start but only produces half the volume of gas.
D being a lump has a smaller surface area so reacts slower (shallower gradient) and only being 0.5g produces half as much gas.
