UCAS error! HELP!

So I applied for Med at Nottingham which asks for 36 IB points. I got 37 points but I didn't realise that their total excludes core points until I read the detailed scoring system now (sent to me with the confirmation email). When I asked at the open day, they said the total includes core points. Without the core points, I've only achieved 34points. This means I havent met the requirements! My UCAS has already been sent off so does that mean I will not be able to change my choice or whatever to stop this nightmare?!? :'((

Call UCAS and explain the situation: as applications have already been sent to universities they may not be able to make a change on your behalf but it is worth checking. Then call the admissions offices of the medical schools: calling them will not harm your application if you try and correct this mistake.
