Are we 'born' with our personalities?

Or is every aspect of our personality learned/acquired?

I'm just interested in what you think/know
I would say that our personalities depend on how we grow up, the influences around us, and so on.

I'd agree that personality is innate, while temperament is progressive.
I think to a degree yes, since you get people who experience very similar upbringings but can turn out completely differently, or people who become very different from the rest of their family despite their influence. But I'd still say it's mainly your environment/upbringing which influences things.

I think that there is a genetic disposition to some personality traits, but otherwise no. Our personalities are moulded, consciously or unconsciously, by society, our peers and by ourselves.
Genetics + environment = how we act. Two people could go into the exact same environment but come out completely different personality wise due to genetics. Obvious answer surely?
I think it's probably a mix of both. Obviously genetics have some influence but your experiences, upbringing etc play a big part as well.
If you're booooorn in the usa you are

But seriously I think you develop personality

Mixture of your genetics and your upbringing I think. I highly doubt it's 100% one or the other
