Work experience at a nursery

What sorts of skills will i be gaining if i did a 2 week work experience placement at a nursery working with children?
I need to know urgently as i need to write it on my CV and Personal Statement.

I guess you can gain critical skills in learning how to interact with children/people. Patience is often required when working with children; also punctuality? I'm guessing you have to be there on time.

Would i also be gaining communication skills as i have to commhnicate with the children and also the other teachers. Also would i be gaining management skills as i have to be able to control and manage the children?

Yes you would be gaining those skills (as well as all the ones posted before).

You see I also havent done anything outside of college, so what are some good stuff to write about in the paragraph about hobbies and interest? Im guessing I cant write something thats too trival such as I like football and socialising with my friends.

You can write about football- theres nothing wrong with that- its a hobby after all

Yeh but most people write about being a member of a football team and the skills they have gained from it. I dont have anything like that to write about.
