help on antiparticle annihilation!!!

During the annihilation process why are two photons produced and not one?
To conserve momentum.
I assume you are thinking about electron-positron.

How does that conserve momentum
Reply 3
Because if one was produced all the energy would have been transferred to one instead of two... Same thing right

And what, if I may ask, does electron-positron have to do with this

Your question was about antiparticle annihilation, right?

Go here first.

Then click the annihilate link in the text.

After you've read through this, tell us what you still need help on.
