Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone has had any offers for MLES (Modern Languages and European Studies) yet? I applied on Tuesday for German and ab initio Russian :smile:

Hi SvLy,
Congratulations on your offer from Bath!
I'm currently a second year student of French and Spanish. The great thing about this course is that it's so contemporary and relevant. You're constantly exposed to the language (as your French and Spanish history/culture modules will also be delivered and assessed in the language, not just your language classes) so your language skills and confidence start to improve really quickly. You also get three hours of language classes a week (in a group of about 15 students) which focus on speaking, writing and grammar, so there are plenty of opportunities to practice with other students and ask your lecturers for help if you need to.
