I have been deciding whether to apply for my BA design course straight away, or to apply for an Art & Design foundation year.

I've heard that sometimes, if uni's reject someone, they offer them a place at their foundation course instead.

Is this common?

Is it usually easier to get into a foundation course?

Is there any chance of being rejected from a foundation course?
