If you want a thread deleted, you need to post in Ask A Moderator. Moderators will generally only remove 10 threads per user however.

Sometimes moderators will close threads, if they are particularly old or have gone off-topic but don't warrant deletion. Subscribers can also close their own threads.
Ask a mod to do it.
