Masters degrees after microbiology

Hey, pretty much what the title says really. I'm applying for undergrad at the moment and I was planning to do biomedical science but a microbiology admissions tutor took a bit of a shine to me and told me he wants me on his course which I'm really tempted by. I'm a mature student so I know roughly what areas interest me due to my work experience (micro is one) but I don't want to specialise too early and rule out certain PG courses. A lot of the PG courses currently available ask for a biosciences/biomedical science degree or a degree in a 'related subject'. Is microbiology closely enough related for the majority of courses? I can always email the guy and ask him but I'm not sure whether he'd know the requirements of other universities so if anyone on here knows and could tell me the universities that would be really helpful.
