Can being intelligent/ having a good job be attractive?

Would any of you consider intelligence and having a good job e.g. Doctor, Lawyer, accountant attractive?
I'm curious because I have a friend who's in his final year of medicine who seemingly gets a lot more attention from the ladies at night clubs when he mentions he's going to be a doctor soon.:s-smilie:

Yeah because it shows financial stability.....I think.
As a guy I wouldn't mind the job she has as long as she enjoyed it, if that was her choice but intelligence and ambition is definitely attractive no doubt.
As a womans pov I do not know, maybe they are attracted to the money side of your friend or it could be his intelligence to get a career like that?

Shows ambition. Stack two women in front. I'd pick the medicine/law/hair and beauty student who looks after herself any day over the one who rather stay home , smoke weed, get pissed and claim jobseekers or extremely menial job out of laziness.

Sure. Being unintelligent with a poor job can be unattractive, so why not

Ability to have a conversation about something other than TOWIE.
A need to be fulfilled on a level higher than that of physical satisfaction.
Basic knowledge of who the PM was etc.
Ability to have a discussion about complex topics.
