Retaking GCSE Science - Where on earth can I do it?

Hi Guys & Girls,

So recently iv decided I want to apply for Bath Spa University to study BA Study of Religions combined with History. My goal is become an RE Teacher.

My issue is that after hopefully successfully completing the degree I plan to study PGCE Secondary Religious Education for a year (a teacher training type course). The problem is is that I need to have a GCSE A-C in Maths and Science (my previous grades, maths: F Science: E). I have sorted out redoing my Maths GCSE but I am stuck with the Science GCSE.

I live in Bristol and need somewhere local (as I don't drive) where I can go that provides retakes of GCSE Science. I am 23 years old and with an extremely low wage (roughly £200pm, I refuse to go on benefits again).
My problem is is that I can't seem to find anywhere that does retakes for Science, and those that I find seem to charge £400+ which I obviously will struggle to afford.

I need to spend any time from now till Autumn 2015 to retake them. Purely because I am under 24yrs, my circumstances may mean i can retake them at reduced or free price, and I need to get the grades for me to be certain I can eventually do what I want to do.

So really all I am asking is does anyone know where I can retake GCSE Science thats quite local to Bristol and not expensive?

I would be very grateful if anyone can help as I am really struggling to find something.
