You have to find an exam centre (=any secondary school or college) willing to accept you as a private candidate. Not many do so be prepared to look at the advice on the exam board websites and ring round. Once you have found somewhere to accept you then it is all organised through them, you can't do anything directly with an exam board. It is extremely difficult (and generally expensive) to find somewhere to do the practical units so start ASAP. The entry deadline for next summer is 21 Feb.
