Hi I am thinking of applying for adult nursing. I would like to go to Leeds for many reasons. But looking at the statistics for the course at this university aren't that great (actually shocking) compared to other local universities such as Huddersfield (which had great statistics for nursing and is different to Leeds). But for some reason I want to come to Leeds even though it would mean that travelling would be more of a hassle because the placements are offered in Leeds and and that it would be easier for me to attend a Huddersfield university with better statistics for the course and travelling to the placements would be easier to more for placements too. Do you know anyone who's studying the course and what do you think I should do, as I would really like to experience being a student at the University of Leeds? Sorry for the dilemma Thank you

I'm a third year adult nurse at Leeds and the reason the statistics are so bad is because the course changed starting with the year before us. It is still a great uni to come to and we are trying to sort the student experience out.
It's definitely worth being in Leeds for placements, so many specialist centres, a major trauma centre, etc.
