had offers from Edinburgh, Sheffield, Reading and Bath  probably going to firm Edinburgh - deciding between that and Sheffield, any opinions?

If you don't mind me asking, how long did bath take? It's been 1.5 months and I've heard nothing from them :frown: what are your grades/predicted grades, if you don't mind saying?

I applied October 13th, got an offer from Bath on 6th of November. Predicted 38 in IB, offer was for 35. Give it a couple weeks and then you could always just email the department

Hi, when did you get the offer from Edinburgh? Is it an unconditional offer?

I got the offer on Friday, it's conditional but really low (32, I'm predicted 38 at IB)

I have got my unconditional offer from Edinburgh today. It is my 5th(back up) choice as my other 4 are for medicine.
Lets see how that goes
I applied on the 11th November to Manchester, Exeter, Reading, Sussex and Royal Holloway - got offers from Manch, Reading and Sussex so far all for ABB!

Hi,

I need help with choosing universities please!

Thinking of applying to the following for Biomedical sciences, my IB total is 37

St Georges - 31
Queen Mary - 34
Kings - 35
Newcastle - 35
Exeter - 34

1. I rather a transfer to Medicine... Because I want to do medicine after this course. I heard there are a few more universities that do transfers???

2. Is that list okay? Should I list another university (i.e. Brunel, since I live in London) as a back up? I thought St Georges could be a back up, considering it requires a 31, but I heard it's very competitive!

Congrats on your offers! looks like we're both on the same wavelength, except I've swapped Sussex and Royal Holloway for Kent and Queen Mary's. Do you have a preference Emily?

Ah well at least you were close! And yeah I guess manchester is the most obvious choice, I'm just a bit unsure on the city! That's great! Did you apply for the 3 year course or one with a language or year in industry?
Same, predicted ABB, really like the look of Reading and Exeter but nothing heard atm, then again it has only been about a week since I sent my application off. I forgot if you mentioned it but have they called you for an interview? :O

Ah yeah, I'm from the Cotswolds so not really used to being in a big city - but I think it would be good to experience it and apparently manchester is pretty vibrant and a nice place to be! I applied for the one with a year in industry, how about you?
Yeah me too, they're all so nice! Which would you put as insurance?
The only one I had an interview from was Manchester, and had it about 3 weeks after applying

Oh nice! Yeah that's understandable then, I'm from London and I like City more than country but something about the other locations just jumps out at me a little bit more, strange I know. Maybe if I stayed in city it wouldn't feel like I'd have left home but then again, that can be seen as a positive haha. I opted for the language course, seeing if I will be able to do a year abroad.
They're all beautiful! And I'm stuck between Reading and Manchester, manchester because of the varied course + status and Reading because of the Uni as a whole and town.
Yeah heard a lot of people getting interviews at Manchester, how did yours go if you don't mind me asking? How did you prepare?
