Has a film/movie ever deeply affected you?

I mean, some films get me so emotional and I become a complete wreck for quite some time. Films such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Bridge to Terabithia have made me cry my eyes out. Being a 16 yr old guy, this is a very strange sensation and the films I watch make me so depressed. It makes me reflect so much on my own life, yet all it does is make my life look crap. Do you guys ever experience this roller-coaster of emotions?

Only a few times, but when it rains, it pours: I cried so hard at "The Fault In Our Stars" that I had to be put on a saline drip.

A bit cliché but titanic gets me every ****ing time. Every time I watch it, it's like I'm watching it for the very first time, no other film does that for me.

A Streetcar Named Desire

Watched it while I studied the play for A Level English Lit. From the first chapter I knew there was something about Blanche DuBois that I could see in myself. On the outside I'm nothing like her, but on the inside it's almost like I am her. I watched the movie in class and I had to force myself to hold back the tears because watching her made me feel like I was watching that part of myself that I can never show anyone.

Casino Royale and Vesper's death gets me. It's that piano chord that plays when she's drowning and the way she kisses Bond's hand and pushes him away :cry2:

I felt the same during The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I saw parts of myself within Charlie that I'd never really come to terms with until watching it.
Pursuit of Happyness

and

Les Miserables. I don't even like musicals but this one...had a thing about it that touched me a little I won't even lie.

Neither of them had me crying or anything, but I was certainly welling up.

Moved to Film
The Fountain gets me right in the feels every time.
Tangled... I don't know why I just love it. It makes me cry and laugh and not many films do that to me! Also films about someone who's ill and eventually die in the end like the fault in our stars makes me really emotional!
Schindler's List upset me so much I've never been able to watch it again.

Stand By Me.
Unfortunately, yeah.
The Butler, I love it but it makes me so sad and angry watching it
Saving Mr Banks killed me :frown:
TFIOS, Titanic, My Sisters Keeper and sad animal films like War Horse, Black Beauty, Two Brothers, Black Stallion etc get me every time :'(
I didn't cry at it, but Perks of Being a Wallflower hit me with massive feels. Probably the only one to do so as far as I remember.

I find something I can relate to in pretty much every movie I watch, but 28 Days, 7 Pounds, The Impossible, The Life of David Gale, Girl Interrupted and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close are some off the top of my head that affected me. I relate hugely to 28 Days, even though it's about addiction and see myself in Gwen so so much.
