Distance Learning help

How's it going..

I'm looking to do a distance learning HNC in Electrical Engineering to complement my job..

Problem is I live in Glasgow and can only find courses south of the border in the region on 4 Grand!

Anyone know of a HNC distance learning course that is cheaper or any grants I could apply for anywhere in the UK. I could get a course for £645 a year but that's two nights a week for two years and can't really do that around work.

Anyone any suggestions.. much appreciated..

Have you asked your employers for financial support/time off work? They can often be supportive.
