Help with chemistry coursework OCRB F336 reaction between peroxodisulfate and iodide

Hi guys, I'm currently doing my A2 chemistry coursework and am investigating the kinetics of the reaction between peroxodisulfate and iodide ions. I am stuck on the part where I have to discuss the catalyst. I was told to use ammonium molybdate but I can't find any reasons as to why on the web. Any information will be appreciated, thanks.
