Simplification Help

Can someone help me simplify the following:

abs(J)=abs(K)=1

abs(J+1)+abs(K+1)+abs(JK+1)

to 2(abs(J+1)+1)

Thank you

What have you done so far, and are you working with real or complex numbers?

Generally the approach to take would be to use the triangle inequality to show that your expression is bounded both above and below by the answer. Although, you do end up needing to use other properties of absolute values as well.
