Asking out a friend?

I'm a guy. Friend is a girl. Both at university. Known her about a month now. Should I go for it? What's the worst case scenario and most realistic scenario?

Yes.

Worst case: She rejects you, you think "well that sucks"

Most realistic: Depends on a lot of things we can't judge

Basically, do it

I mean what's the worst case in relation to our friendship. Could it be ruined completely?

It's possible, but if you have a good friendship then no it likely won't be ruined completely

Have you ever done it?
Do it, and you won't regret the 'what if'?
And, is there any form of attraction between you and her?

Go for it!

Worst case: rejection and awkwardness ensues.

Best case: secks happens

I'd say the best case would be finding out she's perfect for me, I marry her, DON'T get divorced and have the maximum number of years of happiness with no heartbreak along the way. All after secks ofc
