Why is domino's SO expensive?

I dont get why Domino's pizza is like really really expensive...

You pay for the name.

They aren't even particularly good Pizza's, you can generally find an independent takeaway in any area that offers is similar or superior experience at a much lower cost.
Because they can. During freshers' here, they do small pizzas for £1, and I reckon they still make a profit...

Anyone who buys a Domino's without any of the offers is just not using their heads.

When you get 2 for 1, 50% off £40 etc, it works out at about £8-9 a pizza, the same price as most independent takeaways. Your choice which you prefer the taste of there.

Two for Tuesdays, any pizza £7.99 on a Friday (or another day, can't remember), student deals of 50% off if you spend more than £50 (great for parties), free collection pizza if you got a box at the freshers' fair...

The prices are high because there is no need to ever pay full price.
because flour and water are non renewable resources and their extraction requires alot of energy which is expensive:biggrin:

How does it work out to £8 or £9? In your own post you say 50% of £40 so that's £20 for 2 pizzas which is a tenner for each. Poor maths really.
well theyre a big brand so they can set high prices. kinda like the iphone.
They're usually giving away free pizzas anyway.
Papa John's is just amazing and worth its price

I pay full price for Dominos and hate using 'special offers' or vouchers to purchase anything.
