How to dress well?

I'm a guy that in the past didn't care much about his appearance but now since going uni, I want to look more presentable and more stylish in a sense. But the problem is I have no idea where to look in terms of things to buy etc.

If anyone could help with websites or places in which could inspire and may be help me with the type of clothing that I feel is suitable for me would be much appreciated!

Tbh, I went to Uni and dressed how I felt comfortable.
Some days I dressed smart, some days I dressed low key.

But tbh, you can never go too wrong with a pair of decent dark jeans (not necessarily black) and a smart jacket.
Shirts/T-Shirts can be interchangeable in my own taste but jumpers are always good/a safe option.

You can smarten yourself up over time, swap trainers, for boots / brogues, more stylish trainers. Hoodies for proper knitwear. Regular jackets for denim jackets, bombers, parkas etc
Search for dresses in the online stores, and analyze canyou carry it??
This isn't something you should ask, rather you should pick up from others, hence why it's called fashion.
