Do you consider somali people black?

Its so weird how some say we're black and some say we're not :lol:
I consider myself African obviously but when I say i'm black, someone always has to say 'somalis arent black' :confused:

Yes I do. Most of the somalis I've come across are very dark skinned and they're generally like that aren't they?

Well yes, I do consider Sri Lankans black, although I'm pretty sure that the term "black" is generally used to describe people of african descent.

i'd call MOST of them black (and fit). the headscarf throws me though so undecided on those. like if i passed them in the street i might assume arab or asian or something.

Secondly Somali People in general are quite-dark skinned and could be mistaken for black.

They have different juxtaposition's in term of colour some are cafe-au-lait and some are dark brown/black.
