It's just I have to stream on my computer any kdramas netflix dont have any (which is really annoying) and it's a hassle getting hdmi cable and playing it then the dvd costs about £30-40 each one as you have to import it.

Ikr. Feel your pain. That's one of the reasons I'm holding off getting netflix. The only thing I'd use it for is Gilmore Girls xD
I have a short HDMI lead so that is really a pain too.

The period pieces are the best.
I am moving to south korea in Feb for a year to teach English....if you're serious about going there then look at EPIK, government run program, free housing and a wage, flights reimbursed. Obviously you have to teach kids but I cant think of a better way to really immerse myself in Korean culture

So, thanks to a random person I met during a game, I've eventually taking a shining to the Korean culture. I blame them because they posted an Anime on their fb wall over a year ago and has lead me spiraling to the state I'm in now. A friend and I are planning to go check out South Korea next year but I need something to interest right now!

So yea, if you're Korean, like the culture, wanna teach me Korean, listen to K-Pop or watch K-Dramas, lets get talking

I've seen a few K-dramas, currently reading Girls The Wilds (I believe is a manwha) and watch EYK on youtube because it's a fun way to get a lil insight in to Korea.

Hey,

I studied in South Korea! I know quite a bit about Korean culture because of my time there

I don't know if I'm that into it. I think I'll save that for Australia but it sounds like a good idea. Plan B, maybe?

Awesome! So tell me. What do 20 year olds actually do out there? How'd they have fun? How'd they work? What did you find interesting/surprising when out there?

I'm 19, 20 in South Korean age and my room mate and her friends were a year older. We did a lot of stuff: eat out, watch movies, go to the beach, go ice skating, go shopping. Stuff I do back home. We went to a board game cafe a few times too. One thing my roommate did was hire a hotel room/house for a few nights and went a hung out with her friends. I thought that was odd but she seemed to have a lot of fun. How do they work? We never talked about jobs really.

I found surprising was the technology, new tech everywhere. And for it being a place with the greatest Internet in the world (which they are so proud of), often I couldn't find wifi!

Are they all straight in to careers or do they take the long route like most Britain.
But that's cool. There social life seems quite standard besides the hotel thing. That! I've never heard of before but sounds fun! Like a long weekend of fun
Didn't realize they boast about the internet. That's pretty funny/unlucky about the WiFi especially after the boasting lol

I lived in South Korea for a year (Korean is my major). Can confirm that the Internet this is a myth unless you're talking about the computer systems of large companies or specialised PC rooms (places you can go to play computers games, usually games like Starcraft and Diablo 3) because they have more powerful computers and best Internet setup. But in general the wifi in cafes and on the subway is terrible.

You bring a lot memories flooding back for me; some very good some bad. But I'm glad because when I 1st watched Chuno I was going through a really bad time in my life and this was mirrored by the storyline.

It was truly painful to wtahc at times so now I am through that I want to watch it again so please post the episode links if you can.

After you watch this, you won't be thinking about no borderland
South Koreans are the most materialistic people on earth. Be prepared to see half the people in Soul in North Face jackets. They are slaves to brands.
