Do the university admissions person look at an applicants Facebook?

yeah most of my facebook is private but a few things aren't. i was mainly wondering because if they do maybe i'd change my profile picture to one of my not going out etc. twitter i think if they saw i'd be in trouble as i constantly tweet but i just haven't written my surname on twitter so hopefully should be okay, thank you for your replies :smile:


Uni staff are fine with students going out - it's the norm.

I'd be more worried about anything (including your Facebook likes, tweets, instagram photos etc) that makes you look discriminatory, a bully, or is an inappropriate joke (eg one about rape, race, disability etc)
