Can someone explain to me the sorority/fraternity system in the USA?
What are frat parties, sororities, fraternities all about?

They are really tight groups who often require you to go through weird admission processes.

They are basically exclusive clubs. Sororities/Fraternities have application processes where they look for candidates that act like them. Certain Sororities/Fraternities have influential alumni so if you are in one and you go to a party, you may end up with an amazing job that would take you years to get elsewhere. It's all about making connections.
Sorototies are girls and fraternities are guys I'd imagine. Might be wrong lol
