MSc Economics for Development - Oxford

Hi guys,

I am applying for this program, and have a question that I'd like to ask you guys.

As per the instruction, we are required to submit two sample essays, 10 pages each. Do you know exactly how long '10 pages' is?

Most of my essays were about 1,500-3,000 words long. The only 3,000 word essay consisted of 6 pages (12 point Times New Roman w/ 1.5 spacing), so I guess they might want two 5,000 word essays?

Do they really want 2 essays of that length?
I'm confused a bit here :s-smilie:

Yes, 10 pages is 5,000 words from my experience, i'm sure if you email the university they'll be able to clarify however it sounds like this is what they are expecting

They might mean ten pages double-spaced, which would be around 2500 words. I think it'd be worth looking for more detailed requirements or asking.
