Do I need to go through UCAS again?

Hi, I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment and don't really know where to find the answers.

My situation is that I applied to uni for this year however having been offered a place at Queen Mary to politics, I chose to defer for a year. I notified the University who after loads of emailing accepted me onto the 2007 course. However my application stage on UCAS was too late to inform them.

My question is will Queen Mary allow me onto their 2007 politics course without going through UCAS again? As I've had some problems with communicating with Queen Mary, I'm afraid when it comes to the time when accomodation should be booked, they will have forgotten about me. I also don't want to have to go through the interview process again.

You'll need to discuss this with the uni. if they are holding a deferred place for you, you can get into trouble if you apply through UCAS again.
