A situation and so a question
Hello, I'm applying for uni application.. I'm wondering if I should mention this in my ucas or personal statement or whatever?
I was feeling unwell during my 1st week of AS exams in january, having headache and feeling tired all the time. Before my 2nd week, I had chickenpox and so couldn't take the exams for one of my subjects. Although my results aren't too bad (A n 2Bs and a C) Maybe I could have done better if i'm in a healthy condition. Coz I wanna apply for dentistry.
Do you think that way the unis would understand and won't completely reject me coz my grades aren't as good as those straight As?

If you could get a doctor's note, the unis might take it into consideration, but usually AS students sit no more than 1 exam per subject in January and they might wonder why you didn't just resit in the summer.
