Philosophy?

I don't really mind what exam board you're with i'm just wondering - Is it hard? Is it A LOT of work? I'm doing psychology and I want to focus on that. Also what do you get marked for in the essays? what type of essays do you do?
Depends a lot on which board really, because 'Philosophy' means different things to different boards.

For instance, OCR 'Philosophy', afaik, is just R.E. With a couple of units on Cosmological arguments or w/e. While AQA Philosophy looks at more mainstream Philosophical topics, for example Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mind etc.

AQA Philosophy is what I've done, and whether it is hard or not really depends on how interested you are and how you feel about essay writing. It is less formulaic than other essay writing subjects, so bear that in mind. It's nowhere near as difficult as something like History, but probably harder than English Lit, I'd say.

I'm not sure about other boards, but I assume that they're Sociology-level difficulty, I.e. easy.
