How can you tell what type of radiation is being emitted from the count rate?

Alpha radiation gives out slow(relatively) moving particles
Beta radiation gives out fast moving electrons
Gamma radiation is high frequency electromagnetic waves
So the count rate should be alpha<beta<gamma
